This violin is German made, full size, circa MID 1800's "Players" violin (fiddle) with antiquity value as well. The action is superb and the tone is warm and vibrant.  It's about 165 years old, the wood is exceptional and the tone will age ("voice") wonderfully throughout the years. It was professionally restored and enhanced by MASTER LUTHIER, Thomas Hosmer of Hosmer Violins. The recording on this video has not been enhanced.  It was captured only by an iPhone microphone.  With proper care and continued playing this instrument will increase in tone and value throughout the years.  See and hear it in action as you watch this video below. (Enjoy 2 completely different style violinists; A fiddler & classical violinist)

It's a beautiful instrument with a unique story.  Please feel free to email me with any questions: kenveltz@gmail.com
